We are excited to announce that Kensington Bellwoods Community Legal Services will be merging with The Neighbourhood Group Community Services on April 1, 2023!

Kensington-Bellwoods Community Legal Services (KBCLS) provides free legal assistance to people living on low incomes in the neighbourhoods south of Bloor between Ossington and Yonge. With a focus on Housing and Tenants’ Rights, Income Security Programs, Immigration and Refugee Law, and Workers’ Rights, KBCLS furthers its mission to eliminate poverty and ensure equality before the law. 

Together, we will improve our services to the community, and be better equipped to address the changing needs of the neighbourhoods we serve. The merge allows us to build our sustainability, harmonize our processes, and strengthen our back-office functions.
