Standing against Oppression and Hate

Hate Has No Home Here - artwork from Rochelle Rubinstein

Yesterday, we learned about the rallies against Canada's trans and LGBTQ2S+ community and gender ideology being taught in schools.

The Neighbourhood Group Community Services works to promote a fair and just society that provides opportunity for all. To that end, we established an Equity Diversity and Inclusion division tasked with implementing our equity audit including key deliverables to dismantle homophobia and transphobia.

As an organization, we oppose oppression and hate in all its forms including and certainly not limited to racism, homophobia, transphobia and actively seek to provide safe spaces where everyone feel a sense of belonging.

We stand with Two Spirited, lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer and non-binary community and support human rights and gender expressions for all. We champion human rights and embrace diverse gender expressions for each and every person without exception.
