The Award recognizes the efforts of Toronto-based organizations that supported communities throughout the pandemic with resourcefullness, creativity, kindness and respect.

Over 250 organizations were nominated by Toronto residents. In total, 25 organizations were recognized by the City of Toronto for the Award, an initiative funded by the Government of Canada.
