‘When we found out we were going to be parents, we were told to put our names on waiting lists for our top daycare choices. When we found out we were having twins, the advice was replaced with, “It may be impossible to find two spots in a daycare.” We started contacting various centres throughout the city, repeatedly encountering doubt and uncertainty.

“Thankfully, the Harbourfront Child Care Centre opened a new infant room. We were very fortunate to secure two spots for our daughters, Ava and Lola. Within minutes of arriving, the positive and cheerful environment at Harbourfront quickly calmed our “new parent anxiety.” Our girls eagerly explored the infant room, curiously investigating their new surroundings, while their Early Childhood Educator explained a bit more about the programming at Harbourfront. She asked meaningful questions about Ava and Lola, demonstrating a sincere interest in getting to know more about them and how she could best meet their needs.

“We are extremely grateful to not only have found child care, but to have found Harbourfront. We know the staff and programming will foster a nurturing, enriching, and engaging environment for Ava and Lola, while allowing our family to be part of a supportive community.”
