Thanks to the Ontario Trillium Fund (OTF) Capital Grant, we are able to make some much-needed improvements to our Corner Drop-in!

For people in need, the Corner provides immediate services, like daytime shelter, access to washrooms, laundry and showers, as well as primary and mental health care. The Corner also acts as a gateway for longer-term needs, such as housing, employment and harm reduction services. 

Due to the escalating homelessness crisis, more people rely on the Corner every day. In fact, the Corner now provides more than 100,000 nutritious meals every year. To create a more functional and accommodating space, we are improving energy efficiency by replacing the ERV (energy recovery ventilator) which is part of the HVAC system, making repairs to the bathrooms, upgrading kitchen and laundry appliances, adding computers and much more!
These improvements will allow us to continue to provide much-needed services for the most vulnerable people in our community.
