Better Jobs Ontario

If you’ve been laid off and are looking to start a new career, we can help! Run by Employment Ontario, Better Jobs Ontario gives you the skills, training and financial support you need to find a job in a new field where employers are hiring.

Eligibility

You must have:

Been laid-off and have not been working, or are working a temporary job to cover costs; or
Not been laid-off but have been unemployed for more than six months and are part of a low-income household

You can still apply if you receive one or more of:

Employment Insurance (EI)
Ontario Works (OW)
Ontario Disability Support Program (ODSP)

To register for Better Jobs Ontario, you need to apply from an employment agency, like The Neighbourhood Group. When you contact us, we’ll help you:
