Located in a quiet residential area, Cecelia Murphy supportive housing helps seniors live independently in one, two, and four-bedroom apartments. Residents have 24-7 access to qualified personal support workers, crisis response services and general assistance.

FAQs

What is the difference between market rent and rent-geared-to-income?
Market rent is the standard rent for an apartment.

Rent-geared-to-income is based on a person's income. This is usually based on 30% of a person's gross monthly household income from all sources (before taxes and deductions). You can find out more through the City of Toronto.
How many apartments are in the Cecelia Murphy building?

What does the rent include?

Rent includes hydro, heat and water. Tenants are responsible for paying for their telephone, cable and insurance.
Can I bring my own appliances with me?

Apartments include a fridge and stove. Washers, dryers, dishwashers and air conditioners are not permitted in units. A coin-operated laundry is available in the building.
How much storage space is there?

There are storage closets in all apartments. There is no further storage available.
