What does it mean to be a member?

As a member, you'll vote on important issues at our Annual General Meeting, elect our Board of Directors and receive our Annual Report.

What are the requirements to become a member?

To become a member, you must:

  • Have volunteered at least 40 hours of service in the 12 months before the next Annual General Meeting; and/or received at least two hours of service per week in four months prior to the Annual General Meeting

  • Be 18+ years old

  • Live in Toronto

  • Not be employed by The Neighbourhood Group Community Services

  • Apply for membership by the deadline of each year in order to vote at the AGM for that year. 

How do I apply to be a member?

You must either live or work in the Greater Toronto Area to be a member.
The address must be in the Greater Toronto Area. If you live and work in the GTA, it can be either address.
