Volunteers like Beny make a huge difference in the lives of vulnerable people
With the price of food skyrocketing, people are struggling with food insecurity more than ever. Our Teesdale Food Bank is essential for people living near the poverty line. Offering a wide array of nutritious food, the Food Bank could not operate without the support of our dedicated volunteers, like Beny Gidday.
For the past two years, Beny has been a fixture at the Food Bank, volunteering whenever and however he could. Recently he filled in for the Coordinator and even found time to volunteer at our booth at the Beaches Arts & Crafts Show.
