If you’re out of school, out of work and looking to gain new work experience, YouthWorks Opportunities is for you. This 18-week program gives you 6 weeks of professional skill building, and access to resources and an employment coach to find and secure a 12-week work opportuntity.

Eligibility
You are eligible if:
  • You are between the ages of 15 - 30 years old when the program starts (in Spring 2026).
  • You are both out of work and out of school and not planning to go to school next year between for six months after the program starts. 
  • You are allowed to work in Canada and have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and able to show proof.
  • You are a Canadian citizen, a Permanent Resident, a protected person or a convention refugee and able to show proof of your immigration status.
